Life is filled with opportunities. The key is which opportunities are you going to take? Hayley is the daughter of Danny and Darlene Henderson. She was born in Columbus, GA on
May 7, 1990, and since she was four has had residence in Cataula, Georgia. Hayley is a 2008 Honors Graduate from Harris County High School.

Being a former State Reporter for Georgia Future Business Leaders of America, and walking away as the State Winner, and Third in the Nation for Future Business Leader, Hayley is a leader in more ways than one. During her years in FBLA she fell in love with their National Service Partner, March of Dimes. The March of Dimes mission is to ensure one day all babies will be born healthy. Her passion for this organization continued once she decided to attend Columbus State University.

Hayley is a Junior majoring in Communications with a focus in broadcast journalism and Public Relations, and her minor is in Business Administration with a focus in marketing. Going into her Sophomore year of college, she was accepted onto the March of Dimes National Youth Council, a group of eight college volunteers across the country that strive to heighten awareness and raise funds.

Her work on the National Youth Council has allowed her to lobby in Washington DC to urge members of Congress to: support research, prevention and service to improve the health of women and children. While in Washington DC, she spoke at the Library of Congress, and served as a National Partner Panelist in a training volunteer workshop. This past summer, she traveled to Nashville, TN where she made a speech in front of 8,000 people. After returning home for two days, she then flew to Fort Lauderdale, FL; for she was chosen as the Vice President of the Nation for the March of Dimes National Youth Council, and had the opportunity to train the new member on the council. Recent trips have included St. Louis, New York, and Pennsylvania.

Hayley is also a trainer for TeamTRI Leadership. "Through the seminars, workshops, camps, trainings, certifications, and coaching programs, participants not only work—they have a blast doing it! Organizations constantly contact TRI's talented team of presenters because of what we deliver and the way we deliver it."

Hayley also serves various roles at Columbus State University including the Servant Leadership Program, Lambda Pi Eta, National Honor Society, past Student Government Association Speaker of the Senate, and numerous committees.

Hayley is also the Marketing Director for Chick-fil-A Bradley Park Drive and serves as a Teen Advisor intern in her community. Hayley strives to show students today that they can reach for their dreams and to always remember the importance of service.

One recent award that was given to her based on her service towards her community is the Georgia Woman of the Year that was presented to her from the Georgia Capitol.
